With a strong educational background in Film and Design, Dhaval and Nishtha came together with a passionate and decisive mind to form Tumblefree Films. Their combined experience of over a decade in advertising, make them a formidable team that has directed a plethora of films across beauty, montage and story-telling. Over the years the duo has worked with clients like Microsoft, Unilever, Volkswagen, Signal U.K. and Amazon to name a few. Their experience and work in various countries has led them to master their skills and broaden their collaborations across the globe.
Born In Rio De Janerio, Dan moved to the UK in 2003 to get away from scorching summers. Having worked as a filmmaker alongside fashion photographers, Dan started working on commissions ranging from Fashion films to short documentaries and commercials. With a distinctive edge Dan has been tumbling with clients that include the likes of Vogue UK and U.S, H&M, River Island, Equinox, Givenchy, Galerie Lafayette and many more.
Rob obtained a degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics in 1994 but was really interested in shooting films on his camcorder.
Inspired to move into commercials, he won the Cfp/e Shots Magazine New Director Award in the Cannes Advertising Festival and was named in the Top new 10 new directors to watch worldwide. And because he became a BBC Top Gear film director, he learned to shoot cars and adventures. This has culminated in advertising films for global brands including Land Rover, Mazda, Nissan, Triumph, Ducati, Suzuki, to name a few.
After graduating in Literature and Philosophy, Serena lived in Berlin, New York, Dubai and now in Italy directing commercials, music videos and fashion films. Her fascination towards the rising of women in these countries has led her to direct a documentary film “Women Run the Show’ produced by Samsung.
Serena mixes her Italian artistic soul and vivid curiosity with her international experiences and a special emotional female sensitivity that is visible throughout her films.
